My Story
From Taiwan to
Omaha's Weight Room
My fitness journey started on a trip to visit my sister in Taiwan. She introduced me to working out, and when I came back to the U.S., I found a personal training studio and never looked back.
I'll be honest — I was scared to step into a gym as a 40+ Asian American woman. But I wanted a healthy, quality life. So I pushed through. With strength training and dietary changes, like eating more and better than before — I lost body fat while gaining muscle. Today, I have more energy and feel healthier than ever.
"I witnessed how aging can affect quality of life, and I wanted to change that — for myself and for others."
Since 2022, I've served the Asian American community through a nonprofit organization. I've seen firsthand the lack of culturally aware services available to our community. When my father passed away in 2025, it deepened my resolve. I had been trying to get him to the gym, but he never got the chance. His story fuels my mission every day.
To turn that mission into action, I earned my NASM certification at the end of 2025 — giving me a science-based foundation to combine with my years of community work and personal passion for fitness. Now, I’m here to help you build the strength and confidence to live your best life.
