NASM-Certified Personal Trainer in Omaha, NE

I'm Bonnie. I was once too intimidated to walk into a weight room — now I help others get strong past that same fear. In English or Mandarin (中文).

You Belong Here.

Walking into a gym can feel intimidating — especially when you're not sure where to start or whether you belong. That feeling is real, and it's more common than you think. Here, you won't be judged or rushed. You'll be met where you are, supported every step, and coached by someone who truly listens to what you need.

And if mainstream fitness has ever made you feel like your food, your body, or your lifestyle didn't fit the mold — that changes here. Your nutrition strategy will reflect how you actually eat. Your program will be built for your life, not someone else's.

Feeling Out of Place

I know this feeling — I once stood outside the weight room too nervous to walk in. Now it's my job to make sure you never feel that way training with me.

"Healthy" Looks Different for Everyone

Your nutritional approach should work with the foods you grew up on — not replace them.

A Trainer Who Respects Your Background

Not just counting reps — but someone who is curious where you're coming from and what matters to you.

Training with Bonnie

Every session is customized to your goals and your body — built around joint-friendly strength and training for longevity.

Personal Training

1-on-1 or with a partner (2 max).

Even in partner sessions, each person follows their own program, built around their body, goals, and pace. Injuries or joint pain? We train around them, not through them.

Starting From Zero

For people who've never trained before — or never felt welcome in a gym.

No experience assumed. Every movement is taught from scratch, at a comfortable pace, with nobody watching and nobody judging. There's no need to "get in shape" first — starting is the whole point.

Strong Through Weight Loss

For people losing weight — with or without medication — who want to keep their strength.

Rapid weight loss can take muscle along with the fat. Strength training is how to protect it. Smart, progressive programming means the weight lost stays lost — and the strength built stays for good.

Strong for Life

For older adults who want to stay strong and independent.

Strength, balance, and confidence for everything daily life asks — carrying groceries, climbing stairs, keeping up with grandkids. Gentle on joints, serious about results, never rushed.

Built Different.
Built for You.

A Trainer Who's Been Where You Are

I know what it's like to feel like the gym isn't built for you — I was once too intimidated to walk in. That experience, plus years of nonprofit work in our community, shapes every session I coach.

NASM Certified

Every session is backed by science-based coaching, so you can see and feel the progress.

Sustainable, Smart Training

Every session is designed for long-term results — with proper warm up, cool down, and programming that works around your aches and old injuries instead of ignoring them.

Personal, Not Corporate

No big box gym energy. Just genuine care about your progress and a space that feels like it's for you.

Mandarin-Friendly

Prefer to train in Mandarin? You can. It's just one more way to feel at home.

Nutritional Support That Fits Your Life

I'll help you build healthy habits around the foods you actually eat — no generic diets that ignore your reality.

"My goal isn't just to give you a workout plan. It's to help you build a relationship with fitness that lasts a lifetime."

Every session trains smart around your aches and old injuries — never through them — so you get the most from your lifts and stay strong for the long run.

What Clients Say

I assumed making real gains required some level of pain and soreness. After working with Bonnie for three months, I'm happy to say I was wrong — I'm still getting stronger without the injuries and severe post-workout soreness. And now I can finally play Pickleball without knee or shoulder pain.

Bonnie doesn't just lead you through movements — she clearly explains which muscle groups each exercise targets and how those muscles help us stay safe in everyday life. This isn't just a fitness class — it's an investment in your long-term health.

Bonnie is very responsive and receptive to questions and was happy to tailor my plan to what worked for me (as someone who has injuries).

From Taiwan to
Omaha's Weight Room

My fitness journey started on a trip to visit my sister in Taiwan. She introduced me to working out, and when I came back to the U.S., I found a personal training studio and never looked back.

I'll be honest — I was scared to step into a gym as a 40+ Asian American woman. But I wanted a healthy, quality life. So I pushed through. With strength training and dietary changes, like eating more and better than before — I lost body fat while gaining muscle. Today, I have more energy and feel healthier than ever.

Bonnie Lin personal training session

"I witnessed how aging can affect quality of life, and I wanted to change that — for myself and for others."

Since 2022, I've served the Asian American community through a nonprofit organization. I've seen firsthand the lack of culturally aware services available to our community. When my father passed away in 2025, it deepened my resolve. I had been trying to get him to the gym, but he never got the chance. His story fuels my mission every day.

To turn that mission into action, I earned my NASM certification at the end of 2025 — giving me a science-based foundation to combine with my years of community work and personal passion for fitness. And I haven't stopped learning since. I completed the Axiom Qualified Trainer Course to sharpen my coaching, and I'm currently earning my Movement Performance Assessment (MPA) certification — training me to read each person's body and build programs that deliver real results while working around pain and injuries.

Axiom featured my certification journey — studying for the NASM exam in my second language, between two kids and three jobs, and passing first time.

Axiom Qualified Trainer

NASM Certified Personal Trainer

NASM is one of the most respected personal-training certifications in the industry. I earned it so every session I coach is grounded in real exercise science — not guesswork.

Axiom Qualified Trainer

The Axiom Qualified Trainer course is a 10-week advanced program that takes trainers beyond certification into hands-on coaching mastery. I completed it to sharpen how I actually coach — precise cueing on every exercise, thorough assessments, and programs built around your body, not a template.
